OFFICIAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

Promotional Period: 20 October – 26 November 2026

1. PROMOTER

1.1. This promotional competition is organised and conducted by Marico River Honey Bee Co. (hereinafter referred to as "the Promoter", "we", "us" or "our").

1.2. By participating in this promotion, participants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1.3. The promotion is governed by the applicable laws of the Republic of South Africa, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.

2. PROMOTIONAL PERIOD

2.1. The promotion will commence on 20 October 2026 at 00:00 (SAST) and conclude on 26 November 2026 at 23:59 (SAST).

2.2. Only qualifying orders successfully placed through the Marico River Honey Bee Co. online store during this promotional period will be eligible.

2.3. Coupon codes will automatically expire at the conclusion of the promotional period.

2.4. Orders placed before or after the promotional period will not qualify for promotional discounts or lucky draw entries.

3. ELIGIBILITY

3.1. The promotion is open to residents of South Africa who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

3.2. Participants must provide accurate contact information, including a valid email address, when placing an order.

3.3. Employees, directors, agents, consultants and suppliers directly involved in organising or conducting the

competition, together with their immediate family members, are not eligible to win.

3.4. Participation is subject to compliance with these Terms & Conditions.

4. PROMOTIONAL DISCOUNT COUPONS

4.1. Five promotional discount coupons will be available during the promotional period.

The R25OFF coupon provides a R25 discount on orders over R500 and qualifies the customer for 1 lucky draw entry.

The R50OFF coupon provides a R50 discount on orders over R1,000 and qualifies the customer for 3 lucky draw entries.

The R100OFF coupon provides a R100 discount on orders over R2,000 and qualifies the customer for 6 lucky draw entries.

The R150OFF coupon provides a R150 discount on orders over R3,000 and qualifies the customer for 10 lucky draw entries.

The R200OFF coupon provides a R200 discount on orders over R4,000 and qualifies the customer for 15 lucky draw entries.

4.2. The minimum order requirement must be met before the promotional coupon discount is applied.

4.3. Minimum order values exclude delivery charges and are calculated using the eligible product subtotal at checkout.

4.4. The order value must exceed the specified minimum amount. For example, an order must exceed R500 to qualify for the R25 discount.

4.5. Promotional discounts are applied to the value of qualifying products purchased and cannot be redeemed for cash.

4.6. Coupons cannot be exchanged, transferred for monetary value or redeemed against previous purchases.

5. HOW TO REDEEM YOUR COUPON

5.1. All promotional coupons are exclusively redeemable through the Marico River Honey Bee Co. online store.

5.2. To redeem a coupon, customers must:

Visit our online store.
Add their selected products to their shopping cart.
Proceed to checkout.
Enter the applicable promotional coupon code into the designated coupon or discount code field.
Apply the coupon and confirm that the discount has been deducted before completing payment.

5.3. Only ONE promotional coupon may be applied per order.

5.4. Multiple promotional coupons cannot be combined, stacked or applied to the same order.

5.5. Customers may place multiple separate orders during the promotional period and redeem an applicable coupon on each qualifying order.

5.6. Coupons cannot be redeemed or processed manually. This includes orders placed through manual invoicing, direct email orders or any other purchasing method outside our online store.

5.7. Promotional discounts cannot be added retrospectively to completed orders.

5.8. Customers are responsible for ensuring that their coupon code has been successfully applied before completing checkout.

5.9. The Promoter will not be obligated to apply a promotional discount to an order where the customer failed to enter or apply the coupon code at checkout.

6. HOW TO ENTER THE R1,500 GIFT CARD GIVEAWAY

6.1. Customers who successfully redeem a qualifying promotional coupon during the promotional period will automatically receive entries into the R1,500 Gift Card Giveaway.

6.2. The number of lucky draw entries received will depend on the promotional coupon used.

6.3. Entries will be allocated as follows:

R25OFF: 1 lucky draw entry.
R50OFF: 3 lucky draw entries.
R100OFF: 6 lucky draw entries.
R150OFF: 10 lucky draw entries.
R200OFF: 15 lucky draw entries.

6.4. No separate competition entry form is required. Entries will be automatically recorded from qualifying online orders.

6.5. Customers may enter multiple times by placing multiple qualifying orders during the promotional period.

6.6. Each qualifying order using a valid promotional coupon will generate the corresponding number of additional lucky draw entries.

6.7. Entries earned from multiple qualifying orders will be accumulated for the customer.

6.8. There is no limit to the total number of entries a customer may accumulate through qualifying orders.

6.9. Each entry provides an individual opportunity to be selected in the lucky draw. However, multiple entries do not guarantee winning.

6.10. Only successfully completed and paid qualifying orders will be considered valid entries.

6.11. Orders that are cancelled, unpaid or fully refunded before the draw will not qualify for entries.

6.12. Where a partial refund reduces the qualifying order value below the applicable coupon threshold before the draw, the associated entries may be removed.

6.13. Nothing in these conditions limits customers' statutory rights relating to cancellations, returns or refunds.

7. THE PRIZE

7.1. One lucky winner will receive a Marico River Honey Bee Co. online store gift card valued at R1,500.00 (One Thousand Five Hundred Rand).

7.2. The gift card may be redeemed exclusively through the Marico River Honey Bee Co. online store.

7.3. The gift card cannot be exchanged for cash.

7.4. The gift card is not transferable or redeemable for its cash equivalent.

7.5. The gift card will be issued electronically and delivered to the winner's registered email address.

7.6. The gift card will remain valid for three years from the date of issue, or until its full value has been redeemed, whichever occurs first.

7.7. The gift card may be used towards eligible products available in our online store, subject to the applicable online store and gift card conditions.

7.8. The gift card does not guarantee product availability. Products remain subject to availability at the time of redemption.

7.9. The winner will not be required to pay an administration fee or any other fee to receive the prize.

8. WINNER SELECTION

8.1. One winner will be selected through a random lucky draw conducted after the promotional period has concluded.

8.2. The draw will take place on 28 November 2026

8.3. All valid entries accumulated during the promotional period will be included in the draw.

8.4. The winning entry will be selected randomly from the complete pool of eligible entries.

8.5. Each valid entry will have an equal chance of being selected.

8.7. The selected entry and its associated order details will be verified to confirm eligibility.

8.8. Only one prize of R1,500 will be awarded.

9. WINNER NOTIFICATION

9.1. The winner will be contacted directly via email.

9.2. The notification will be sent to the email address provided when placing the qualifying online order.

9.3. The winner will be notified within five business days following the draw.

9.4. The winner's notification email will include details regarding the prize and the process for receiving the R1,500 gift card.

9.5. The winner may be requested to confirm their name, email address and other information reasonably necessary to verify their identity and deliver the prize.

9.6. The winner must respond to the notification email within seven calendar days of receiving the notification.

9.7. If the winner does not respond within the specified period, the Promoter will make reasonable attempts to contact the winner again.

9.8. If the winner cannot be contacted despite reasonable documented efforts, the Promoter may, where permitted by law, conduct a further draw to select an alternative winner.

9.9. Participants are responsible for providing a valid email address and checking their inbox, including their spam or junk folders.

9.10. The Promoter will not be responsible for notification delays or failures resulting from incorrect email addresses provided by participants or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

9.11. The winner will never be required to make a payment or provide banking passwords or one-time PINs to claim the prize.

10. PRIZE DELIVERY

10.1. Once the winner's eligibility and contact details have been verified, the R1,500 gift card will be sent electronically to the winner's registered email address.

10.2. The gift card will be issued within seven business days after the required verification has been completed.

10.3. The gift card will contain the necessary redemption information or instructions.

10.4. The winner is responsible for keeping their gift card code secure.

10.5. The Promoter may assist with investigating reported gift card delivery or access issues, subject to reasonable verification.

11. DISQUALIFICATION

11.1. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any participant who:

Submits false, misleading or fraudulent information.
Attempts to manipulate the promotional coupon system.
Attempts to interfere with the lucky draw or entry allocation process.
Uses fraudulent payment methods or participates in fraudulent transactions.
Otherwise fails to comply with these Terms & Conditions.

11.2. Any disqualification will be based on reasonable grounds and applied fairly in accordance with applicable law.

11.3. Where fraudulent activity is identified, the Promoter may invalidate the affected entries.

12. PRIVACY & PERSONAL INFORMATION

12.1. By participating in this promotion, customers acknowledge that certain personal information will be processed for the purpose of administering the promotion and competition.

12.2. Personal information collected may include:

Customer name and surname.
Email address.
Contact information.
Order numbers and transaction details.
Promotional coupon usage.
Lucky draw entries.

12.3. This information will be used for the following purposes:

Verifying eligible purchases.
Allocating lucky draw entries.
Conducting the random draw.
Contacting and verifying the winner.
Delivering the gift card.
Maintaining legally required competition records.

12.4. Personal information will be processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA) and the Promoter's applicable privacy policy.

12.5. Personal information will not be sold to third parties.

12.6. Personal information may be shared with authorised service providers where reasonably necessary to administer the promotion, conduct the draw, verify the winner or deliver the prize.

12.7. Participation in the competition does not automatically constitute consent to receive unrelated promotional marketing communications.

12.8. Customers may exercise their rights relating to their personal information in accordance with POPIA.

12.9. Personal information and competition records will be retained only for as long as required for legitimate business purposes and applicable legal obligations.

13. PUBLICITY & WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT

13.1. The winner will be informed privately through email.

13.2. The Promoter may invite the winner to participate in promotional activities, including announcing their name on the company's website or social media platforms.

13.3. Participation in publicity activities is entirely voluntary.

13.4. The winner may decline permission to use their name, photograph or likeness in promotional material without affecting their right to receive the prize.

13.5. The Promoter will respect the winner's privacy and obtain any required consent before publishing personal information.

14. TECHNICAL ERRORS & ONLINE STORE AVAILABILITY

14.1. The Promoter will make reasonable efforts to ensure that the online store, promotional codes and entry recording systems operate correctly throughout the promotional period.

14.2. The Promoter will not be responsible for interruptions beyond its reasonable control, including internet connectivity failures or third-party service outages.

14.3. Where a verified technical error affects the application of a valid coupon or the allocation of entries, the Promoter will make reasonable efforts to investigate and correct the issue.

14.4. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under South African consumer protection legislation.

15. CHANGES TO THE PROMOTION

15.1. The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the promotion where reasonably necessary due to unforeseen circumstances, technical difficulties, fraud or legal requirements.

15.2. Any changes will be communicated through the Marico River Honey Bee Co. website or other appropriate communication channels.

15.3. No amendment will unfairly prejudice participants or remove rights already acquired under applicable law.

15.4. The Promoter will take reasonable steps to protect valid entries already received should changes become necessary.

16. GENERAL CONDITIONS

16.1. Promotional coupons may only be used during the specified promotional period.

16.2. Coupons are not redeemable for cash.

16.3. Coupons may not be combined with other coupon codes on the same order.

16.4. The promotional coupons are valid exclusively for purchases processed through the online store.

16.5. No promotional coupons will be accepted or processed through manual invoicing.

16.6. Multiple qualifying online orders are permitted during the promotion.

16.7. Participation does not guarantee selection as the winner.

16.8. The results of the competition will be determined through a fair random selection process.
